What is Traffic Survival School (TSS)?
TSS is an eight hour, one day course that is required by the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) for certain violations.
Why do I have to attend Traffic Survival School?
You may be required to attend a Traffic Survival School for one of the following:
- For convictions causing the accumulation of at least 8 points, but not more than 12 points, within a 12-month period, with no Traffic Survival School completed in the previous 24 months.
- For a conviction of one of the following violations: Aggressive Driving, a Moving Violation Resulting In An Accident Causing Serious Physical Injury, a Moving Violation Resulting In An Accident Causing Death.
- For the first moving violation of a driver under 18 years of age
- For a conviction for Red Light Running
What happens if I do not take TSS once it has been ordered?
Once TSS is ordered by the Motor Vehicle Division, it must be completed within sixty (60) days from the notice date on the corrective action notice letter. If it is not completed within the sixty (60) days, the MVD will suspend your driver’s license until the class is completed and any and all fines are paid.

Do I need to make an appointment for class?
Yes. You may call us at 888-723-7078. We will need your name, mailing address, and a phone number where you can be reached.
What will I need to bring to class?
You MUST bring your Motor Vehicle Division Corrective Action letter or court ordered letter with you to class. If you do not bring the letter, you will NOT be permitted to attend the class. Also, you will need to your driver’s license or valid identification card and a cash payment.
